About the property
You’ll love this charming 2 bedroom / 1 bath “pet friendly” tahoe vacation cabin! Centrally located within a short walk to many West Shore favorites, this cabin was originally fashioned and built by a designer for Disneyland. Lodging accommodations include a stone fireplace in one bedroom, a wood burning fireplace in the living room, knotty pine walls, washer/dryer, SmartTV, and high speed internet service. The kitchen is well equipped (sorry no dishwasher) and there is a large private, sunny, stone patio in the back of the cabin with gas BBQ.
Access to the ever popular Lake Tahoe Park Association Beach is included. Enjoy level parking for 2 - 3 cars directly in front of the cabin.
IMPORTANT NOTE - This is a newer listing for us (as of early 2025), but it’s worth mentioning that this home has been an active vacation rental property for many years and has over 100 Five Star Reviews. When we took over management of the property, the listing had to be rebuilt under our Property Management account. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to transfer legacy reviews over to the new listing. This home is exactly as advertised, very well maintained, and set up great to accommodate groups up to 4 guests. Please don’t hesitate to reach out should you have any questions.
The cabin is centrally located in the Pineland area and is a short walk to some of the best and most iconic west shore destinations: Sunnyside Resort, Firesign Cafe, West Shore Market and Shadyside Lounge. The Lake Tahoe Park Association Beach is also a short walk away, with access to this beach association affording you the next best alternative to staying on the lake!
You can also catch the bike trail just a few blocks from the cabin and enjoy miles of paved trails along the West Shore or into Tahoe City, down the Truckee River, or all the way out to Palisades. So fun!

We stayed here two nights in Mid October for my wife’s birthday. It was chilly outside and this was the coziest little place to come back and relax in. They even had a pre-made fire setup, ready to light. There was extra firewood cut and ready, bikes available to use, and all of the necessities. Very well thought out, and beautifully decorated as well. We will be back.
As a Tahoe local, it’s always fun to experience some of the old world culture and this adorable place has tons of history, beautiful woodwork, amazing backyard, and 2 fireplaces to build your own fire (my favorite). The owner resupplied my wood and made sure my privacy was honored. If you prefer a newer, more modern place then maybe it’s not for you but I loved the classic history, with a gnome included. Scandinavian is my guess. Walking distance to the private beach next to Sunnyside and Shadyside. Thank you!
Dave was a very friendly and responsive host, and the location is great. Check-in went smoothly and there is ample parking. Our problem with this place is that it’s extremely old, and definitely needs some TLC (eg. stained carpets, bathroom looks like it hasn’t been updated in 50 years, spiderwebs everywhere). This is not a family or a couple running this Airbnb, it’s a management company with dozens of rentals. There are better places nearby for the same price.
