This was a perfect house for a big family group. The kitchen and dining room were fun and allowed us to all be together for eating and games. The fireplace in the family room was an added plus. It was nice to have a bathroom in each of the four bedrooms. The location was my favorite because we could easily walk the neighborhoods and walk down to the lake. For anyone skiing Homewood, it’s ideal.
We stayed at Dave’s home over Labor Day weekend as three families (5 adults and 3 kids) and could not have asked for a better experience. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, and the house instantly felt welcoming. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with utensils, basic condiments, and spices, everything we needed to cook and share meals. Our kids were thrilled to discover shelves of books and games that kept them happily entertained, while the adults enjoyed the calm surroundings. Dave was an exceptional host - kind, quick to respond, and provided wonderfully clear instructions that made everything effortless. We left feeling refreshed and genuinely impressed. This is a perfect spot for families or anyone seeking a quiet, comfortable stay that still feels close to downtown.
